Snow Chains
Your safety is our priority. That is why we only hire the best quality Konig ‘diamond pattern’ quick-fit chains for 2WD and 4WD vehicles. We also carry a wide range of fine link chains, specifically to fit vehicles that have clearance issues.
Our staff are highly trained in the use of these chains. You will be given a thorough demonstration of the fitting of the chains onto your tyres to make sure you know how to use them before you head up the mountain.
Any vehicle traveling up to Victorian ski resorts is required by law to carry chains. The road may look clear in the morning, but that can change very quickly. By midday or evening, the road may be slippery and covered in ice meaning even the sturdiest 4WD requires snow chains.
